I am a qualified and experienced Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist (Level 7) and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I provide a confidential and professional one to one counselling service for adults, young people and children over the age of 11 years. I also provide one to one or group Consultative Supevision to counsellors and other professionals.
Being an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist means I am able to combine theory and techniques from a variety of major theoretical approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person Centred and Psychodynamic to name a few and integrate them into a single approach. This allows me to be incredibly flexible and creative in my practice and tailor my work to your own individual, specific needs or goals. By working together we can find positive ways forward by looking at your difficulties from alternative perspectives to create new meaning in your life and aquire the tools to achieve your goals.
My counselling practice aims to give you the opportunity to explore your problems, distresses or any difficult situation that you are experiencing in a confidential, non-judgmental, safe and supported environment.
Making that first appointment can feel daunting, but your positive decision can help you explore different ways of understanding yourself and can create a happier outcome for you.

Personal Growth & Community Development
Established in 2014, Rivki Rose Training was set up by award winning tutor Rebecca Rosenthal (aka Becca) in response to the growing need for learning experiences that address community and personal development together.
At Rivki Rose Training we’re all about supporting people and communities to grow.
We specialise in developing and delivering bespoke learning programmes, workshops and taster sessions promoting personal growth and community development.
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience personal growth in a safe and inclusive environment.
Whichever learning experiences you are in, you can expect to see these principles in practice:
- Developing ourselves and the communities we live in; Striving to promote better wellbeing, positive mental health, coproduction, fairness, equality of opportunity, community cohesion and resilience.
- Recognising achievement; Promote assets based approaches, valuing existing and new skills. Recognising that everyone has something to offer, whatever their personal or professional skills.
- Personal & Professional Development; Supporting the development of knowledge transfer, sharing experiences and good practice, embedding digital literacy and developing employment skills.
At Rivki Rose Training we’re committed to developing the skills of individuals through the learning programmes we offer and also through volunteering and work opportunities. We are proud to be a Spice Time Credits earn and spend partner, to be offering meaningful volunteering and work opportunities to members of the community and sub-contracting to local, developing businesses where possible.
We deliver right across the South & South West Wales areas. All learning experiences are developed with local practices and services in mind, in addition to the Welsh, UK and European policy context.

Networks & Sponsorship
We like to practice what we preach at Rivki Rose Training and support our communities to grow whenever the opportunity arises.
Rivki Rose Training co-hosts ‘Women In Networking Llanelli’ alongside Ferry Cake Marketing & PR Consultancy, a 60+ strong network for women in the area running their own business, thinking about starting up in business and whose roles benefit from networking with like-minded women.
In 2015 we sponsored two events. The West Wales Chronicle Llanelli Hustings held in May 2015 ensured an opportunity in the Morfa area of the town for local people to meet their local Westminster candidates and hear them speak. Becca was asked to chair the event and did so to high acclaim. Rivki Rose Training also sponsored the Carmarthenshire Adult Learning & Tutor Awards in June 2015. The awards celebrate adult learning and champion the journeys and success of the incredible adult learners and tutors in the county.

The 'Energy Dynamic Model' has been developed by Jennifer Foster and has taken nearly thirty years to complete. It all began in her teenage years when she saw that people operated in different ways to each other. She started to draw diagrams of the different ways that they worked and after another 15 years of life experience, studying philosophy and economics to a Masters level and working in the learning difficulty and mental health fields, the diagrams that she had continued to scribble started to create repeating patterns.
Work includes: Remploy (one of first four Job coaches in the UK), Restart Courses (worked with over 2,000 people over 2 years), Hackney Council Social Services (Project Manager for Employment and Training opportunities), Support Worker one to one 2 year olds at a nursery (learning difficulties).
After moving to Wales in her early 30s, she set up her own business and started to work with business people, spiritual healers, community development projects and therapists to train them in this developing model. New information was added to the patterns that she had already started to see as she learnt more from these clients.
Work includes: Karen Collins Reiki Master 'Easy Therapies', Angela Lewis Acupuncturist 'Natural Vitality Centre', Gareth Pearce 'Elite Plumbing', Wyn 'Piano Teacher', Sonia Pearce 'Twisty Pix', David Weller 'NLP practioner', Phil Lloyd 'Libre Energy Estates', Community First young men 14 - 21, set up 'Karaoke And Cakes', Community First general population short courses and one to ones (over 50 sessions), Women Ethnic Minority Group, Llanelli Rural Council 'Corporate Stress Management'.
Life took another turn in her early 40s and she started to find work and study experiences with abuse, self harm, drug addiction and domestic violence. All the knowledge that she gained from these events was added into the mix of the scribbled diagrams and patterns.
Work includes: Llanelli Social Service (2 clients), Families ( 4 clients), Womens Aid (1 workshop), Personal / friends / life experience ; drug addictions, self harm, domestic violence, dealings with CAFCASS, the law and support agencies.
After having her third child in 2010, as a single parent she decided the best thing she could do was to write everything down. The result of this was two books; 'The 'Answer'', a play of two characters discussing the philosophical, economical and social ins and outs of the model, and then 'The Energy Dynamic Model'; a practical guide that explains how to identify the four different energy dynamic types people operate within. With this knowledge, it is possible to change your own dynamic into the optimal performance type by following the simple exercises. She is now working with her brother, John Foster, who is the operations manager and is based in London.
