Digital Marketing Apprentices gets creative!
It was a great pleasure to work with several businesses from Swansea and Carmarthenshire this week to help develop their digital marketing skills. In the last session, my ‘Digital Marketing’ Apprentices started working through their ‘Content Marketing’ workbook, taking them through each of the stages of content marketing planning process. This week, we continued with the topic, but this time, with very much a hands on training session of idea generation.
It was good to see the apprentices supporting each other during the session, sharing experience and ideas, resulting in a sheet full of ideas for each of the apprentices to take away with them back to their workplace to help develop their content marketing.
I look forward to seeing how they implement and distribute their new content ideas in the coming months.
One of the key messages they took away with them was not to develop just any old content, but to make sure it’s either interesting, helpful, educational, inspiring or funny enough to engage with their target audience.
